Every donation, no matter the size, helps us empower emerging farmers to build thriving micro-farms and supply families with fresh, nutrient-dense food. Together, we’re tackling unemployment, restoring the land, and cultivating opportunity.

🧾 Tax-Deductible Giving (Section 18A)

The Market Garden Initiative is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO). This means that all donations are eligible for a Section 18A tax deduction in South Africa.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Make your donation through our store.

  2. Provide your details (name, ID / company registration, address) at checkout.

  3. We’ll issue you with an official Section 18A certificate.

  4. Submit it with your SARS tax return to claim your deduction (up to 10% of taxable income).

So your generosity not only transforms lives — it can also reduce your taxable income.
